My Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken

Couldn't find a recipe that appealed to me so I came up with this. Smells heavenly and I cant keep my husband out of the crockpot ha! I'm always looking for recipes to make my life easier.
This would be great over rice or on a salad but today it's going to be an appetizer. Be creative! Enjoy:)

Slow Cooker Crock Pot


  • 1- 3lb pkg
    thawed chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 1 small can(s)
    crushed pineapple w juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1 heaping Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1 heaping Tbsp
    minced green pepper
  • 1 c
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 c
    packed brown sugar

How to Make My Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken


  1. Place chicken in crockpot.
  2. Mix undrained pineapple, brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, nutmeg, onion & green pepper together.
  3. Pour pineapple mixture over chicken.
  4. Cook on low 6-8 hrs or high 4 hrs until chicken turns white and tender with no pink showing.
