My husband loves chicken alfredo but doesn't like leftovers. But, he gladly ate these leftovers until it was gone!

1 1/2 - 2 lb
boneless skinless chicken breast cut in strips or cubes
1/4 c
butter divided in half
1 Tbsp
minced garlic
1/2 Tbsp
garlic powder
1/2 Tbsp
onion powder
1 Tbsp
herbs de provence
salt to taste
1 pt
heavy whipping cream
2 c
prepackaged shredded italian blend cheese


1In a skillet melt ½ of the butter over medium heat and add minced garlic and chicken. Season chicken in the skillet with herbs, garlic powder, onion powder and salt. Cook chicken till done all the way through, about 3-5min on each side. When the chicken is cooked through, remove to a plate and add to hot skillet the other half of the butter. When butter is melted add the heavy cream. When cream is boiling add 2 c cheese and stir well. Add the cooked chicken back into cream sauce and cook 5 more minutes together. Serve over your favorite pasta!
