I found this Crock Pot Mozzarella and Pesto Chicken recipe and made changes to suit my needs. I prepared it for the first time on Easter Sunday, and the family loved it!

This mozzarella and pesto chicken is a comforting and satisfying slow cooker dinner. Juicy and tender, they absorb the pesto and ranch dressing flavors. There's a slight tang with a hint of herbs from the pesto. The shredded mozzarella cheese sprinkled on the chicken melts slightly. Yum!

Ingredients
- 6 - boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 6 1/2 ounces pesto
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 package ranch powder mix
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
How To Make mozzarella and pesto chicken in a crock pot

Step 1Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker. Spread the pesto as evenly as possible on all visible surfaces of the chicken.

Step 2Sprinkle the ranch mix over the chicken.

Step 3Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.

Step 4Add the stick of butter in the middle.

Step 5Heat on low for 6 - 8 hours or high for 3 - 4 hours.
