Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6 - bone in chicken thighs skin removed
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 1 tablespoon each mccormick gourmet cinnamon roasted ground saigon and garlic powder california
  • 1 teaspoon each ground cumin, sea salt, and ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon saffron crushed
  • 1 can 14 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes undrained
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/3 cup raisins

How To Make moroccan chicken

  • Step 1
    Heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken and cook 8 minutes turning once. Remove chicken from pan.
  • Step 2
    Stir onions into skillet. Cook about 5 minutes until golden. Add seasoning. Stir in tomatoes, chicken broth and honey. Return chicken to skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and simmer 10 minutes covered. Add raisins. Cook another 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Serve with cooked couscous and garnish with cilantro if desired
