A family favorite on the grill. My husband used to order this in a restaurant. We asked someone that worked there what the "sauce" was and he said they used Western brand salad dressing as a marinade. We can not find Western dressing in our area, so we make our ouwn.

Ingredients
- 4 - boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
- 4 - pineapple rings, grilled
- 4 slices monterrey jack cheese
How To Make monterrey chicken

Step 1Mix together ketchup, vegetable oil, vinegar, sugar, lemon juice and pepper in a large zip top bag. Add chicken breasts and marinate overnight.

Step 2Grill chicken and pineapple rings. Top grilled chicken breast with pinapple ring and cheese. Move away from heat source and let cheese melt.
