Ingredients For *** mom's lemon chicken soup ***

  • 1/3 c
    butter, cubed
  • 3/4 c
    flour
  • 6 c
    chicken broth, low salt
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    1/2 & 1/2
  • 1 1/2 c
    chicken, cooked & cubed
  • 1 - 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 dash
    nutmeg
  • 8 slice
    lemon

How To Make *** mom's lemon chicken soup ***

    In pan, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth. Add 2 C chicken broth, milk & 1/2 & 1/2, bring to boil, cook & stir, 2 minutes to thicken.

    Stir in chicken, lemon juice, salt, pepper, nutmeg & remaining broth, cook until heated thru. Garnish with lemon slices.
