Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter, cubed
- 3/4 cup flour
- 6 cups chicken broth, low salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup 1/2 & 1/2
- 1 1/2 cups chicken, cooked & cubed
- 1 - 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 dash nutmeg
- 8 slices lemon
How To Make *** mom's lemon chicken soup ***

Step 1In pan, melt butter. Stir in flour until smooth. Add 2 C chicken broth, milk & 1/2 & 1/2, bring to boil, cook & stir, 2 minutes to thicken.

Step 2Stir in chicken, lemon juice, salt, pepper, nutmeg & remaining broth, cook until heated thru. Garnish with lemon slices.
