Ingredients
- 2 - red or green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 - onion, slliced thin
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- - chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 - 14 oz. cans tomatoes, canned italian-style & diced, drained
- 1 - 6 oz. cans tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- - salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup capers, drained
- - pasta of choice, optional
How To Make *** mom's crock pot chicken cacciatore ***

Step 1Place peppers, onion & garlic in crock pot.

Step 2Toss chicken with flour to coat. Place chicken over vegetables.

Step 3In bowl, stir together tomatoes, tomato paste, vinegar, seasonings & rest of flour. Pour over chicken. Cook & cover on LOW 8 - 10 hours. Stir in capers. Let cook 5 - 10 minutes more or until warm. Serve over pasta, if desired.
