Ingredients For *** mom's chicken casserole #2 ***

  • 2 1/2 c
    frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/2 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1 stick
    butter, divided
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    sage leaves, fresh
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 2 c
    chicken broth, low salt
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 3 c
    chicken, boneless, skinless, cooked & diced
  • 1 - 14 oz. can
    sliced potatoes, drained & quartered (you got me on this one)
  • 2 c
    seasoned stuffing cubed

How To Make *** mom's chicken casserole #2 ***

    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  • 2
    Saute vegetables & onion in 1/2 stick butter. Stir in flour, sage, salt, pepper, broth & milk; cook until thick.

    In greased 13 x 9 x 2" baking dish, add chicken, potatoes & vegetable mixture. Pour remaining melted butter over all. Bake 10 - 15 minutes or until done.
