moms chicken and rice casserole

I dont know where my mom got this recipe from but this is how she made this when I was growing up.

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 1/2 cups rice
  • 2 cups cooked chicken
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or any type you like)
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms (small)
  • 1 can cream of celery soup (or you can use 1 cup of hellmans mayo)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

How To Make moms chicken and rice casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook rice according to package. Add broccoli to your rice right before the rice is done.
  • Step 2
    Except for the parmesan cheese, mix all the other ingredients together and put into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the top and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour.
