momma's chicken and dill pot pie..

This is my version of Chicken pot pie...Everyone in my house loves this

Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 cups cooked cubed chicken
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1 cup chicken broth...
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 1/4 cup cup sugar
  • 1/8 cup baking powder
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cans drained quality mixed vegs...

How To Make momma's chicken and dill pot pie..

  • Step 1
    Mix soups with sour cream,dill weed, chicken broth, add salt and pepper to taste add chicken...Mix well..Pour into a large rectangle pyrex..Top with the dough..Recipe follows...
  • Step 2
    Dough Recipe...Mix the flour, Milk, butter,sugar and baking powder I use a pastry cutter...Roll out long to fit over pyrex...This mixes well..You may have some left over dough..Bake at 350 for 30 minutes until golden brown...Brush top crust with margarine when it comes out of oven..
