Ingredients
- NOODLES
- 5 ounces rice noodles or 2 pkgs ramen noodles
- SAUCE
- 2 tablespoons each brown sugar, kecap manis (sweet soy sauce) and ketchup
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 teaspoons each soy sauce, dark soy sauce and sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon chili garlic paste or sambal oelak
- STIR FRY
- 2 boneless chicken thighs cubed
- 8 large prawns raw peeled and deveined
- 2 large eggs whisked together
- 2 tablespoons peanut oil
- 5 cloves garlic minced
- 2 cups savoy cabbage chopped
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 4 scallions chopped
How To Make mie goreng (indonesian noodles)

Step 1Cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside Mix the sauce ingredients together and set aside.

Step 2In a wok or large skillet add the peanut oil and swirl it around. Once it is hot add the eggs and let them cook on the bottom then flip them over. Once cooked fold them and place on a cutting board and cut into thin strips. Set aside.

Step 3Wipe out the wok and add a little more oil. Add the chicken and garlic and cook until chicken is almost done. Stir in the prawns then add the sauce.

Step 4Stir in the cabbage, bean sprouts, and scallions. Let them wilt a little then add the noodles and eggs back in and warm through. Serve immediately
