Mexican Shredded Chicken

This is a gluten free recipe that I found when doing some research for a friend with gluten allergy. I made it for a group dinner and everyone LOVED it!!! I have had many requests for this recipe and suspect you will too!

salsa of choice
1 pkg
chicken taco seasoning (mccormick is what i use)
16 oz
chicken broth
1 lb
chicken tenderloins
water - to cover chicken


1Pour chicken broth, salsa, and chicken taco seasoning packet into crock pot and stir, then add chicken.
2With chicken in the crock pot, pour water over chicken until all chicken tenderloins are covered in water.
3Cook on low for 8hrs. Then shred chicken using forks. You can leave the shredded chicken in the liquid and add items to create a Mexican Chicken soup, or you can drain and use for enchiladas, tacos, burrito's, casseroles, etc!
