Ingredients
- 2 - chicken breasts, whole
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/3 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 4 ounces monterey jack cheese, shredded
How To Make mexican salsa chicken

Step 1Pound chicken 1/4 inch thick.

Step 2In shallow dish combine flour, garlic powder, paprika and chili powder.

Step 3Coat chicken with flour mixture.

Step 4Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 5Cook in oil 3-4 minutes each side until lightly browned and no longer pink.

Step 6Reduce heat, spoon 1 tablespoon of salsa onto center of each piece of chicken.

Step 7Sprinkle with cheese. Cover and cook until cheese melts.

Step 8Serve with additional salsa.

Step 9Makes 4 servings.
