This is one of my family's favorites... you can cut a lot of the fat and calories by using lite or fat free ingredients. Or you can leave out the chicken and serve it as a side dish. Great for potlucks and social gatherings too!

Ingredients
- 16 ounces macaroni (shells or elbow) cooked
- 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon each salt and pepper
How To Make megan's homemade mac and cheese

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Step 2In a large mixing bowl combine cooked macaroni, ricotta, garlic, onion, chicken, 2 cups of the shredded cheese, parmesan cheese, cream cheese, butter, milk, salt and pepper.

Step 3Pour into a 9x13 baking pan or casserole dish.

Step 4Top with remaining cheese and bread crumbs.

Step 5Bake covered for 30 minutes.

Step 6Uncover and bake an aditional 10-15 minutes, or until topping is browned and crispy.

Step 7Serve with your favorite veggies and enjoy!
