Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    chicken breast, boneless and skinless cut in 1/2" strips
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz
    mushrooms, drained
  • 10 oz
    frozen peas, thawed
  • 1
    chopped onion
  • 1
    bell pepper, chopped
  • 3
    shallots, chopped
  • 1
    garlic clove
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped parsley
  • ·
    salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pkg
    butter crakers, crushed

How to Make Magic Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large frying pan, brown chicken breasts in the oil.
  2. When they are done, remove them, and fry off the seasonings; onion, bell pepper, shallots, garlic and parsley.
  3. When the onions are clear, put the entire mixture in a large casserole dish.
  4. Add the mushrooms and peas, and then fold in the cream of chicken soup.
  5. Top with the crushed crackers and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
