    uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 c
    fresh brocolli florets
  • 1 medium
    red pepper--chopped
  • 1 c
    onion--chopped
  • 2 medium
    carrots--sliced in qtrs
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic--minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    evoo--extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pkg
    (9) oz frozen cubed cooked chicken
  • 1/4 c
    frozen peas
  • 2 tsp
    chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/2 tsp
    tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp
    lemon pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 4 oz
    velveeta cheese--cubed

How to Make MACARONI CHICKEN SKILLET

Step-by-Step

  1. COOK MACARONI, THEN DRAIN.

    IN LGE. SKILLET, SAUTE BROC., PEPPER, ONION, CARROTS, GARLIC IN OIL, UNTIL TENDER. STIR IN CHICKEN, PEAS, BOUILLON, TARRAGON, LEMON PEPPER, REDUCE HEAT.
  2. IN SMALL BOWL, COMBINE FLOUR, MILK UNTIL SMOOTH. POUR INTO SKILLET MIXTURE, BRING TO BOIL & COOK AND STIR 2 MINS. OR UNTIL THICKENED
  3. REDUCE HEAT, ADD CHEESE & STIR UNTIL MELTED.

    SERVES 4
