Ingredients

  • 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups fresh brocolli florets
  • 1 medium red pepper--chopped
  • 1 cup onion--chopped
  • 2 medium carrots--sliced in qtrs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic--minced
  • 2 tablespoons evoo--extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 package (9) oz frozen cubed cooked chicken
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas
  • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon tarragon
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 ounces velveeta cheese--cubed

How To Make macaroni chicken skillet

  • Step 1
    COOK MACARONI, THEN DRAIN. IN LGE. SKILLET, SAUTE BROC., PEPPER, ONION, CARROTS, GARLIC IN OIL, UNTIL TENDER. STIR IN CHICKEN, PEAS, BOUILLON, TARRAGON, LEMON PEPPER, REDUCE HEAT.
  • Step 2
    IN SMALL BOWL, COMBINE FLOUR, MILK UNTIL SMOOTH. POUR INTO SKILLET MIXTURE, BRING TO BOIL & COOK AND STIR 2 MINS. OR UNTIL THICKENED
  • Step 3
    REDUCE HEAT, ADD CHEESE & STIR UNTIL MELTED. SERVES 4
