Ingredients

  • 3 pounds whole chicken, cooked and boned
  • 2 cups uncooked macaroni
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 can french fried onions

How To Make macaroni and chicken casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook and bone chicken.
  • Step 2
    Place chicken in bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan.
  • Step 3
    Pour uncooked macaroni over chicken.
  • Step 4
    Pour milk over macaroni.
  • Step 5
    Spread soup over mixture.
  • Step 6
    Cut cream cheese into small pieces and lay over soup.
  • Step 7
    Cover and place in refrigerator overnight or at least 8 to 10 hours.
  • Step 8
    One hour before baking, take out of refrigerator and let set.
  • Step 9
    Heat oven to 350 degrees and bake for 50 minutes uncovered.
  • Step 10
    Cover with onion rings and bake for 5 to 10 minutes more.
