Lindsey's Comforting Chicken and Rice
2 can(s)cream of chicken soup
2 can(s)cream of celery soup
1/2 tsppoultry seasoning
·salt/pepper to taste
4 stalk(s)celery plus leaves
1 mediumonion, quartered
·rice or noodles
How to Make Lindsey's Comforting Chicken and Rice
- Place chicken, celery stalks and onion in stock pot. Cover with water and boil approximately 25-30 minutes until chicken is no longer pink. Remove chicken from liquid, tear into bite-sized pieces.
- While chicken is cooking, in a medium to large stock pot combine soups, poultry seasoning, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat 20 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Add chicken and mix well. Heat thoroughly.
- Serve over rice or egg noodles.
