lemony chicken salad

We love eating this in the spring and summer...sometimes right out of the bowl. Great on croissants, pita bread or as a tortilla wrap. For some reason I'm craving this right now so I thought I would post it.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise, fat-free
- 1/4 cup sour cream, lite
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel, grated
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound cooked chicken, chopped
- 1/2 cup celery, sliced thinly
- 1/4 cup green onion, sliced thinly
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
How To Make lemony chicken salad

Step 1In large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon peel, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add chicken, celery, green onions and almonds; mix well. Refrigerate for about one hour to allow flavors to blend.

Step 2Eat it right out of the bowl or serve on bread, croissants, pita pockets or tortillas. Great on a really hot summer day or when you are on the go.
