Ingredients
- 4 chicken leg quarters plus 2 thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 lemons, cut into 8 wedges
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- LEMON GARLIC BUTTER
- 6 tablespoons soft butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
How To Make lemon garlic butter chicken

Step 1Mix the lemon butter sauce ingredients together. Rub the sauce all over the chicken pieces under the skin and place them in a 9x15 pan. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken and season with salt and pepper. Pour the wine around the chicken and scatter the lemon wedges around. Roast the chicken for 45 to 50 minutes.

Step 3Remove the chicken pieces to a serving plate and let rest. Discard the lemon wedges. Whisk the lemon juice into the pan drippings to make a sauce to serve with the chicken.
