Ingredients For lemon garlic butter chicken

  • 4
    chicken leg quarters plus 2 thighs
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/4 c
    white wine
  • 2
    lemons, cut into 8 wedges
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • LEMON GARLIC BUTTER
  • 6 Tbsp
    soft butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon zest

How To Make lemon garlic butter chicken

    Mix the lemon butter sauce ingredients together. Rub the sauce all over the chicken pieces under the skin and place them in a 9x15 pan. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken and season with salt and pepper. Pour the wine around the chicken and scatter the lemon wedges around. Roast the chicken for 45 to 50 minutes.

    Remove the chicken pieces to a serving plate and let rest. Discard the lemon wedges. Whisk the lemon juice into the pan drippings to make a sauce to serve with the chicken.
