Ingredients For lemon chicken piccata

  • 8
    boneless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 c
    egg substitute
  • 2 Tbsp
    white wine
  • 1/4 c
    white wine additional
  • 5 Tbsp
    lemon juice, divided
  • 3
    minced garlic cloves
  • 1/8 tsp
    hot pepper sauce
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    parsley minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 3 tsp
    olive oil divided
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make lemon chicken piccata

    Flatten chicken to 1/4” thick. In a shallow dish, combine the egg, 2tablespoons wine, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, garlic & hot pepper sauce. In another shallow dish, combine the flour, parmesan. Hesse, pArsley& salt. Coat the chicken with flour mix, dip into egg mixture then coT again with the flour.

    In a large nonstick skillet, brown the chicken breast in the oil for 3-5 minutes. Remove & keep warm. Repeat until all chicken browned.

    Drain drippings. In the same pan, melt butter. Add the remaining wine & lemon juice. Bring to a boil and continue until sauce is reduced by a fourth. Drizzle ove chicken.
