This is one of my mom's classic after Thanksgiving dishes. She would always make the dish with left-over turkey. Very yummy. :)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped cooked turkey or chicken
  • 1 (10 oz) - pkg frozen english peas
  • 1 cup (4 oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 dashes hot sauce
  • 1 - 8 oz can crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

How To Make lattice-topped turkey pie

  • Step 1
    Combine first 10 ingredients; Mix well. Spoon into 13x9 inch baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Separate crescent dough into 2 rectangles; press perforations to seal. Cut into 4 long strips and 4 short strips. Arrange strips in lattice design across top of casserole. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350* for 35 mins. Serves 6-8
