This is a classic recipe my mom always used to make with left-over turkey from Thanksgiving! Can also be used with Chicken of course. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped, cooked chicken or turkey
  • 10 ounces pkg. frozen english peas
  • 1 cup (4 oz) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup soft breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 dashes hot sauce (optional)
  • 8 ounces can crescent dinner rolls
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

How To Make lattice topped turkey pie

  • Step 1
    Combine first 10 ingredients; Mix well. Spoon into a 12x8x2 inch baking dish.
  • Step 2
    Separate crescent dough into 2 rectangles; press perforation to seal. Cut into 4 long strips and 4 short strips. Arrange strips in lattice design across top of casserole. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350* for 35 minutes. Enjoy!
