chicken wings
3 large
egg whites
2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
oil for deep frying


1/4 c
soy sauce
3 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
rice vinegar
2 clove
garlic minced
1 tsp
ginger grated
1/2 tsp
sesame oil
1 tsp
red chili flakes
1/2 tsp
siriracha sauce
1 Tbsp
sesame seeds
scallion minced

How to Make Korean Inspired Chicken Wings


  • 1mix the egg whites, baking soda, and salt together. Add the chicken wings and stir to coat. Place a wired rack over a baking sheet and place the wings in a single layer on the sheet and let sit for 2 hours at room temp to dry out.
  • 2Meanwhile mix all the sauce ingredients except sesame seeds and scallion together in a small saucepan cook until thickened and reduced a bit. Stir in the sesame seeds.
  • 3Deep fry the wings in batches at 375 degrees until golden brown about 4 to 5 minutes. Place in sauce and coat well. Sprinkle with scallions
