Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3 eggs
- 3 cups panko bread crumbs
- TONKATSU SAUCE
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic minced
How To Make katsu chicken

Step 1Mix the ingredients for the Tonkatsu sauce together and set aside.

Step 2Place the chicken between plastic wrap and pound to make it more unified in size. Cut into strips. Salt them and then set if fridge on baking sheet for 1 hour.

Step 3Set up three dredging stations. one add the flour. Beat the eggs and add to a station then put the Panko in the third station. Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Step 4Add about 1/2 inch of oil to a large skillet. Working in batches. Dredge the chicken in the flour, then egg and then dredge in the panko .

Step 5When the oil is very hot fry the chicken pieces in batches turning to get a nice brown color. Remove the chicken to a baking sheet.

Step 6place in oven while completing all the pieces of chicken. Serve with Tonkasu sauce for dipping.
