karl's barbecue sauce
I made this sauce for a rib burn-off in cleveland ohio in 1989.The ribs took 3rd place and my sauce took 1st place.Not to tangy and not to sweet.I make a gallon so my kids can take it home. Posted 1/27/13

Ingredients
- 1 quart ketchup
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/8 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon your favorite hot sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
- 1 1/2 cups orange marmalade

Step 1Mix all ingredient in a heavy pot and simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 2You can store this in a glass jar in the refrigerator for 4 months.But it will be gone before that.
