This is a peruvian recipe, you can use chicken instead of beef, juicy and a favorite, hope you try it!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon canola oil
  • 2 pounds beef or chicken strips
  • 2 teaspoons garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • - salt, pepper
  • 3 - red onion wedges
  • 1 - red chile strips, seedless
  • 2 cups tomato wedges, seedless
  • 2 teaspoons parsley flakes
  • - fried french fries ( 1 cup per serving)

How To Make jumpin' beef (lomo saltado)

  • Step 1
    In large frying pan heat oil, fry beef or chicken, add garlic, cumin, soy sauce,vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • Step 2
    Add onion and chile, mix until cooked but still crisp.
  • Step 3
    Add tomato wedges, mix and turn off heat. Leave covered for 5 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle parsley and serve with french fries.
