beef or chicken strips
2 tsp
garlic
1 tsp
cumin
1 Tbsp
soy sauce
2 Tbsp
red wine vinegar
salt, pepper

red onion wedges

red chile strips, seedless

tomato wedges, seedless
2 tsp
parsley flakes
fried french fries ( 1 cup per serving)

How to Make Jumpin' Beef (Lomo Saltado)

Step-by-Step

  • 1In large frying pan heat oil, fry beef or chicken, add garlic, cumin, soy sauce,vinegar, salt and pepper.
  • 2Add onion and chile, mix until cooked but still crisp.
  • 3Add tomato wedges, mix and turn off heat. Leave covered for 5 minutes.
  • 4Sprinkle parsley and serve with french fries.
