My family loves it when I make Jambalaya. Make with pork, poultry and seafood, it pleases everyone. Hope you enjoy this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut in one inch cubes
  • 1 lb
    smoke sausage or kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 lb
    cooked shrimp
  • 28oz can(s)
    crushed tomatoes
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 1 large
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 c
    white wine, optional
  • 2 tsp
    oregano
  • 2 tsp
    parsley
  • 2 tsp
    cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 2 c
    cooked rice

How to Make Jambalaya

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut chicken and slice sausage. Chop onion and green pepper. Put all in dutch oven, Add remaining ingredients except for shrimp. Bring to a boil, cover and Cook on low for 45 minutes. Ten minutes before eating, add shrimp and cooked rice. Allow to heat.
