Another freezer cooking success! I had it prepped and ready to place in the crockpot. I couldn't believe the great aroma that filled the kitchen. This chicken is SO flavorful so I thought I would remove the broth and reduce it in a pan with some slightly cooked and cubed white and sweet potatoes and a dash of EVOO and pepper. Next time I will serve it with a green salad. Give it a try!
Ingredients For italian slow cooker chicken
4 lgchicken breasts, skinless and boneless
1/2 citalian salad dressing
1 cgreen pepper (chopped)
3/4 conions (chopped)
1 tspgarlic powder
2 mdpotatoes (peeled and cut into wedges)
How To Make italian slow cooker chicken
1Combine all ingredients except the potatoes in a labeled, 1 gallon freezer bag (if freezing).
2If frozen, thaw overnight and pour the contents of the bag into slow cooker. Cook on low for 7-8 hours. After 6 hours of cooking, add the potato wedges.
