italian slow cooker chicken
Another freezer cooking success! I had it prepped and ready to place in the Crock Pot. I couldn't believe the great aroma that filled the kitchen. This chicken is so flavorful. So I thought I would remove the broth and reduce it in a pan with some slightly cooked and cubed white and sweet potatoes and a dash of extra-virgin olive oil and pepper. Next time, I will serve it with a green salad. Give it a try!
Blue Ribbon Recipe
A quick and easy slow cooker chicken dinner your entire family will enjoy. Marinating chicken breasts in Italian dressing creates flavorful and tender pieces of chicken. Onions and peppers add more flavor to the Crock Pot dinner. Adding potatoes in the last hour of cooking means they don't get mushy or overcooked, and they soak up the chicken and vegetable flavors. It's a dinner that takes little effort to prepare and is big in flavor.
