I made this once for my Boyfriend, on our first home dinner date. I was worried because he is 1/2 Italian & jokes with me "if you can't say it, you shouldn't say it" lol. But I could say this one easy & he liked it...
Note: I wanted to share a pic of it, so I found a pic that kind of looks like it....

Ingredients

  • 1/3 c
    biscuit mix
  • 1
    egg white
  • 1 Tbsp
    water
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 c
    green or yellow bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 c
    onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    chicken breast, cooked
  • 1/2 c
    tomatoes, canned italian-style and diced
  • 1/4 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1/4 c
    mozzarella cheese

How to Make Italian Pizza Bake... Cooking for 2....

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 400F. Spray 8x4-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.In a small bowl stir biscuit mix,egg,water & garlic powder. Then spread in pan.
  2. In 10 inch nonstick frying pan,cook bell pepper & onion over medium-high heat until tender. Stir in already cooked chicken,tomatoes & seasoning. Cook until hot. Spoon over batter. Then sprinkle with the cheese.
  3. bake for 20 to 23 mins or until golden brown, cheese has melted & Loosen from sides of the pan.
