italian chicken with mushrooms
This is great served over pasta with a spinach salad on the side. ETA Now that I only cook for myself, I find that cutting the chicken in chunks works well, is easier to eat, and makes me feel like I've got more chicken than I do. lol.

Ingredients
- 4 - skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 1 - envelope italian salad dressing mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 8-oz packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 10-oz cans cream of mushrooms soup
- 1 4-oz cans mushroom pieces, drained
How To Make italian chicken with mushrooms

Step 1Place chicken in greased 3 1/2 to 5-quart slow cooker.

Step 2Combine salad dressing mix and water; pour over chicken. Cover and cook on high heat 3 hours.

Step 3In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and soup until blended. Stir in mushrooms. Pour over chicken.

Step 4Cook 2 hours longer on high heat, or until chicken juices run clear.
