Ok this recipe was a fluke! I started out making my lemon chicken and rice and did not have all the ingredients. So I looked in the fridge to see what I did have ! This was the result!!

Ingredients

  • 4 - chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 1 tablespoon garlic,chopped
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 cups olive garden italian dressing
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 cups rice, instant and uncooked
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons parsley flakes

How To Make italian chicken & rice

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet place chicken that has been cut up in peices. Place the butter in skillet and start to cook.
  • Step 2
    Add the chopped garlic and the chopped onion.Cook till slightly brown.
  • Step 3
    Pour over the cooked chicken the Olive Garden Dressing, water, and chicken broth. Make sure you have enough liquid to make it soupy looking.
  • Step 4
    Cook for a few minutes then stir in the un-cooked rice. The liquid in the pan will cook the rice. Add some parsely flakes.
  • Step 5
    Cook for 20 minutes till rice is cooked. Stir well often!
