I think you could use this chicken in so many ways. Sandwiches, with pasta, or as a base for whatever dream up!

Ingredients

  • - chicken thighs, skinless and boneless, or breasts
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic, heaping
  • 1 tablespoon mccormick italian seasoning, heaping
  • - water
  • - olive oil, extra virgin
  • - cheese of choice, i used mozzerella

How To Make italian chicken

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350.
  • Step 2
    In a gallon size ziplock bag, add chicken, seasonings, & water. Seal & mix well. Put in refrigerator to marinate. ( I left mine in overnight, but at least a few hours)
  • Step 3
    Drain liquid from chicken & pat dry.
  • Step 4
    Heat a large skillet over medium high heat. Add oil.
  • Step 5
    When oil shimmers, working in batches (do not crowd) add chicken to pan, cook 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Step 6
    Top chicken with cheese & put in oven until cheese melts. (Approx. 7-8 minutes)
