Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make italian baked chicken

  • Step 1
    Arrange chicken, skin side down in ungreased shallow baking pan/dish; pour butter on top.
  • Step 2
    Bake at 400* for 20 mins.; turn chicken over and bake 20 mins longer. Pour tomato sauce on top; sprinkle with oregano and garlic powder. Bake till tender and juices run clear when chicken is pierced with a fork, about 20 mins. Serves 4
