Me and my wife love these sadwiches and we fight over the leftovers!!!
Also you can make a variation of this with flour tortillias rolled up borrito style!! for lower cal.

Ingredients

    chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 3/4 c
    water
  • 3/4 c
    italian salad dressing
  • 1 pkg
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    oragano
  • 1 pkg
    hoagie buns
  • little
    butter softened

How to Make Itailan Chicken sandwiches

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut chicken up in small pieces,place in a skillet add water, garlic powder, oragano, cook on low heat till chicken is no longer pink.
  2. Next add dressing cook covered till liquid reduces by about half.then Remove from heat.
  3. Preheat sandwich press. Put chicken on bottom buns one at a time cover chicken with cheese, butter inside of lid, brush outside of bun top with butter as well
  4. toast sandwiches to desired crispness. serve with pepperchini peppers and chips. ENJOY!!!
