Ingredients
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 4 boneless skin thighs cut into pieces
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 jalapeno seeded and chopped
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 28 ounces can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- fresh cilantro for garnish
- basmati rice and naan for serving
How To Make indian butter chicken

Step 1In a large bowl add the yogurt, lemon juice, turmeric, garam masala and cumin. Toss in the chicken and let marinate 6 hours.

Step 2Add half the butter to a skillet and cook the chicken until golden. Transfer to a plate and set aside. Add the remaining butte to a pan and cook the onion, garlic, ginger and jalapeno for about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, paprika, and chicken to the pan.

Step 3Simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and cook 2 more minutes. Serve garnished with Cilantro. Serve with Basmati rice and naan
