Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups idahoan instant mashed potatoes flakes
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 8 - chicken legs (about 2 pounds)
- 6 cups canola oil
How To Make idahoan fried chicken

Step 1Stir 1 cup of flour and 1 cup of potato flakes in a medium bowl.

Step 2Beat the egg and milk in another bowl with a fork or whisk.

Step 3Stir the remaining flour , potato flakes , bread crumbs and seasonings in another bowl.

Step 4Coat the chicken with potato mixture.

Step 5Dip the chicken in egg mixture.

Step 6Coat the chicken with the seasoned flour mixture.

Step 7Heat the oil in a 4 quart sauce-pot over medium-high heat.

Step 8Add the chicken in batches and cook for 10 minutes or until chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Drain the chicken on paper towels.
