    chicken breasts, boneless, skinless, cut in 1/2

    olive oil
  • 1
    onion, medium, thinly sliced
  • 1
    garlic clove, large and minced
  • 6 oz
    chick peas, canned and drained
  • 1
    yellow squash, thinly sliced
  • 1
    green pepper, medium, julienned
  • 1
    red pepper, medium, julienned
  • 2 Tbsp
    cajun seasoning
  • 2 Tbsp
    hot pepper sauce
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper, ground
  • 4
    tortillas, flour, 10 inch

How to Make Hot Spicy Chicken Tortillas


  1. In a fry pan, heat the oil over medium flame. Add chicken, onion and garlic.
  2. Cook, turning, about 5 minutes, until chicken is brown on all sides.
  3. Add peas, squash, peppers, cajun seasoning, hot pepper sauce, chili powder, lime juice, paprika and pepper. Cook, stirring, 10 minutes or until the vegetables are crisp tender.
  4. Place about 1/2 cup of chicken mixture on each tortilla. Roll the tortillas and arrange them on a platter.
  5. Garnish with salsa and cheese.
