Ingredients

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • salt and pepper
  • sweet paprika
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon malt vinegar
  • chives, for garnish

How To Make honey soy chicken breast

  • Step 1
    Score the chicken breast flesh about 1/4 inch down in a criss cross pattern. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Dredge in the flour.
  • Step 2
    Add the butter to a pan big enough for both chicken breasts. Brown the breasts on both sides then remove from the pan and set aside. Add the garlic to the butter and saute 1 minute. Add the soy, honey, and vinegar. Stir to incorporate, then add the chicken breasts back in the pan.
  • Step 3
    Baste with the sauce and cover. Reduce heat and cook about 15 more minutes. Serve garnished with the chives.
