1/3 c
smooth dijon mustard
1/3 c
1 Tbsp
olive oil
3 lb
chicken legs or thighs
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 sprig(s)
fresh rosemary or a generous sprinkling of dried rosemary

How to Make Honey Mustard Chicken


  • 1Preheat the oven to 350°.
  • 2Mix mustard, honey and olive oil in a large bowl.
  • 3Add some salt to the honey mustard mix. You may want to add a bit more salt or mustard to get that exact taste you're looking for.
  • 4Place the chicken into a shallow dish and season lightly with salt. Make sure the skin-side is up.
  • 5Pour your honey mustard mixture over the chicken and place the rosemary sprigs between each piece.
  • 6Bake for about 45 minutes. If you have a meat thermometer, once it reaches 175 its done.
  • 7After you take the chicken from the oven. Carefully remove any excess chicken fat.
  • 8To add a little more zest, before serving, sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
