I just sort of threw this together one night using things we had in the house. AND WOW! The steaks turned out so tender, and soooo delicious. They were sweet and had just the right amount of subtle heat. We made homemade burritos with black beans and yellow rice. They. Were. Outstanding!

Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable or olive oil
- 1 cup honey
- 2 - heaping tbsps minced garlic
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 1 large red onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons cumin
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1/2 tablespoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make honey-lime marinade

Step 1Combine all ingredients together in a medium bowl, whisking until well mixed.

Step 2Place two large steaks in a disposable foil pan or a large, deep baking dish, and pour marinade over steaks.

Step 3Cover pan/dish tightly, and refrigerate at least 8 hours. (Overnight yields most flavorful results.)
