  • 1 lb
    chicken breast boneless skinless and pounded to 1/2 inch thick
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    ginger grated
  • 2 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 large
    lemon juiced and zested
  • 4 Tbsp
  • 1/4 c
    chicken stock
  • ·
    fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

How to Make Honey Lemon Chicken


  1. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
    Heat oil in a skillet
    Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through about 7 minutes.
  2. Remove chicken and set aside.
    Add the ginger and garlic and saute 1 minute.
    Add the honey, lemon juice and zest and stock.
  3. Let cook to reduce and thicken. Taste and adjust seasoning. Pour sauce over chicken.
    Garnish with cilantro
