Every time I make this baked chicken, whether it is just my husband and myself, or friends and family over, they simply rave about how good it tastes. Hope you all feel the same way.

  • 1/2 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1
    fryer chicken cut up
  • 1 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1/4 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 c
    lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    curry powder

How to Make Honey Glazed Baked Chicken


  1. In a bowl, combine flour, salt and cayenne pepper. Add chicken pieces and dredge to coat.
  2. Pour 4 tablespoons of butter into a 13"x9"x2" baking pan. Place chicken in pan turning pieces over once to coat.
  3. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  4. Combine brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, curry powder and remaining butter and pour over chicken and bake 30 more minutes or until chicken is tender. Baste several times with pan drippings.
