This is a simple and tasty way to prepare boneless, skinless chicken breasts. I always use a meat mallet for boneless, skinless breasts ... it makes them so tender, you can literally cut them with a fork, and they also cook just a wee bit faster when they're pounded a bit thinner. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 4 - boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup flour, seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup orange juice

How To Make honey chicken in a skillet - easy!

  • Step 1
With a meat mallet, pound the chicken breasts lightly, to tenderize them and make them more uniform in thickness. LIGHTLY dust them in salted and peppered flour; shake off excess.
  • Step 2
In a large skillet, melt the butter and honey together. Brown the chicken breasts on both sides in the honey/butter, approx. 4 - 5 minutes per side, until juices run clear.
  • Step 3
Pour a half-cup of orange juice over the chicken. Reduce heat to 'low'. Cover, and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Step 4
Uncover the chicken, and cook further, until the juices reduce to a glaze.
  • Step 5
Serve with rice and a pretty green vegetable!
