Ingredients

  • QUESADILLA & FILLING
  • 1-1/2 cup canned shredded chicken
  • 4 - 10 inch flour tortillas
  • 2 cups velveeta shreds-queso blanco cheese
  • 1/4 cup monteray jack salsa con queso cheese (in the jar)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt or onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt or garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon franks red hot sauce
  • 2 scoops butter
  • POSSIBLE CONDIMENTS
  • - taco sauce
  • - guacamole
  • - sour cream

How To Make homemade quesadillas

  • Step 1
Heat a skillet 10" or larger on a low to medium temperature. Spray with Pam or cooking spray.
  • Step 2
Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl. ( Don't add the guacamole, sour cream or taco sauce, this will be for later).
  • Step 3
Butter one side of the flour tortilla and lay it flat in the skillet. Use your own judgement to scoop out the filling onto one side of the tortilla. Fold over the loose side of the tortilla to create a half-moon shape. Let it cook long enough to melt the cheese and to turn to a light tan the outside. Flip it over, but becareful. Let that side cook to the same color. Remove from skillet and place on a cookie sheet or platter. Repeat Step 3 to cook the rest of the quesadillas.
  • Step 4
You can serve this meal with endless options.. Sour cream, guacamole, rice, refried beans, taco sauce, salsa...
