MY GRANNIE MADE THIS MANY TIMES IN MY GROWING UP, AND AS I WATCHED HER I MEMORIZED THE RECEIPE, ITS A FAVORITE WITH MY GRANDCHILDREN,THEY SAID THEY COULD EAT IT EVERYDAY.....

Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow or shell macaroni cooked
  • 1 1/2 packages cheese of your choice
  • 1 1/2 cups milk, 1%
  • 1 can canned milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper mixed (or to your taste)

How To Make homemade mac' -n- cheese

  • Step 1
    cook macaroni as directed, while cooking put together cheese mix
  • Step 2
    In saucepan pour both milks, shred the cheese,(holding out a 1/2 cup of the shredded cheese) add to milk, add 2 tablespoons of butter,cook till cheese melts, pour over cooked macaroni, mix, pour in round or square casserole pan, sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded cheese held out over top.... Bake at350* for about an hour. take from oven let set up for a few minutes(10-15), serve.
