i make these for most all occasions everyone i know just loves my dumplins. they are so good and warm perfect for the winter evenings.

1 medium
whole chicken boiled and deboned
3 c
all porpuse flour
1 c
chicken stock (from the boiled chicken)
3 Tbsp
2 tsp
dried or fresh parsley
1 tsp
baking powder
2 Tbsp
black pepper
chicken bulion cubes
3 Tbsp
butter, room temperature

How to Make homemade chicken and dumplins


  • 1boil whole chicken in water seasoned with salt and pepper and chicken bullion, reserve stock and debone chicken.
  • 2meanwhile combine flour and parsley salt pepper and cut in butter with fork add 1 cup of hot stock into flour mixture until forms a dough,
  • 3flour the cutting board and roll out dough to desired thickness and cut into squares with pizza cutter.add dumplins to boilig broth one at a time stir and add chicken back to pot boil till dumplins are cooked through and tender. you may add a can of cream of chicken soup to thicken broth if desired.
