This recipe is from Sam Choy and is great for potlucks. It goes well with stir-fried vegetables and steamed rice, or cut julienned style into strips and tossed with mixed greens and salad dressing.

  • 6
    chicken breasts

  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 c
  • 1/4 c
    ginger, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp
    chinese parsley, inced
  • 1/8 tsp
    white pepper

How to Make Hibachi Chicken Breast


  1. Prepare and light coals in hibachi.
  2. Blend marinade ingredients thoroughly and marinate chicken breasts for 30 minutes.
  3. Grill over coals, turning every 2-3 minutes, for a total cooking time of 8-10 minutes. If you prefer, you may pan fry the chicken breast, or broil them in the oven. The cooking times are the same.
