Ingredients

  • 4 - 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 ribs - celery, chopped
  • 4 - carrots, chipped
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 58 oz. packages chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup parsley
  • 2 tablespoons thyme, dried
  • - salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 - rotisserie chicken, flavor of your choice, meat picked off bones, chopped into bite sized pieces (including skin)
  • 1 package egg noodles, no-yolk variety or 3 c rice

How To Make healing chicken noodle soup

  • Step 1
    Cook first 5 ingredients in a Dutch oven 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Add chicken stock & next 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat & simmer, partially covered, 25 minutes.

    Add chicken, evaporated milk & noodles or rice; cook 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.
