Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked, cubed, white meat chicken
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 white green onions, chopped
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon accent
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 5 1/2 ounces sliced waterchestnuts, drained
- 6 fresh mushrooms, sliced, sauteed in butter
- 5-6 ounces bamboo shoots, drained
- 1 1 lb 4 oz can pineapple chunks, drained
- chopped macadamia nuts, optional
- dash curry powder, optional
- dash ginger, optional
How To Make hawaiian chicken, barb

Step 1Saute onions and garlic in butter until soft, blend in flour, accent and salt. Add water and pineapple juice, cook to a boil and it thickens. Add chestnuts, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, curry and ginger. Simmer 5 min, add pineapple and chicken. Cook, stirring only if necessary, until heated through. Serve with steamed rice, can add macadamia nuts around the border of the servings. Serves 4, generous servings.
